Here in Swiss Franconia we certainly keep up with the times, but we also like to relive the good old days once in a while. Every village has its own traditions and there's always something to celebrate: merry church consecrecrations, well and oven festivals where traditional costume is worn. The Annafest in Forchheim and the Walberla-Fest are rightly known as legendary highpoints of the year.
